“Thank you…….Thank you……Thank you! We have been in business now for a little over 12 months. During our start up process we decided to go ahead and ‘have a go’ at website design ourselves, “surely it couldn’t be that hard” we thought. We went ahead and found a domain name and server that was within our budget. We started to create our own website using the expensive website builder application that came with the site, not knowing anything and bumbling our way through the process, we thought it looked pretty good. But not knowing the finer details like ‘keywords’ and ‘SEO’, looks were just the outer shell of our under-performing website.
When we moved from Victoria to Tassie, we met Simon from KBD Web Design, who gave us a go by advertising his fledging business on the big screen at our very first Drive In movie Night. Through some very polite discussions with Simon, we came to realise that our amateur attempts at DIY web design were not the best and could do with a little sprucing up, we had no keywords or SEO in place, it looked really shabby on mobile devices and our website wasn’t getting the hits. A few months ago, we switched from our DIY web design package to KBD. Simon had our complete website transferred and set-up in no time, and through his ongoing support, we now have a very professional and easy to use website. Our website is now getting massive hits, and we have been inundated with requests for events and services. This last week we changed our business name, and this name change was amended on our website, a new domain name and an email address with our business name in it was secured within a few days. Simon’s can do attitude and close customer relationship, mean that we get the best from a professional web designer, which we never got from our DIY package.
Due to the nature of our business, Simon has given us access to the design program, and has taught us how to place images, wording and basic SEO, so we can insert images and details of upcoming events without having to contact Simon. His guidance through this process has been second to none, very detailed, clear and easy to understand instructions. Every question we have asked has been answered and every request we have placed has been completed to a very high standard. We cannot thank you enough KBD Web design for our very professional and active website.
